As part of our well-considered approach to creating the Centralpoint development we commissioned a report to assess the demographic profile, local labour market and extent of recruitment potential applicable to Centralpoint, located on the Eurocentral development in Lanarkshire.

Report

All data in this report relates to a ‘Journey to Work Area’ of between 40 and 50 minutes using either public or private modes of transport. This represents the extent of a standard recruitment catchment for most grades of office-based employees at Centralpoint. Management and other specialist positions can be recruited from an even wider catchment area of around one hour.

To give a detailed overview of the illustrated area, we’ve included the following information in our Demographics report:

  • Recruitment catchment area of 1.5m people in a 50 minute peak time Journey To Work Area
  • Labour pool c 750,000 in work or seeking work
